I’m Kevin Cole, founder of Threshold. With an MA in Social Sciences from Humboldt Universität zu Berlin and Middle East Technical University, I lead our technical and strategic vision to make H-1B data accessible and actionable.
Building for Scale
My journey began at the Refugee Solidarity Network, where I built digital tools to increase access to information for both refugees and the lawyers who represent them. This experience taught me the importance of solving problems at scale without losing sight of the unique needs of our users. When I saw firsthand how fragmented and inaccessible H-1B data was for practitioners working in the US Business Immigration field, I founded Threshold to address this gap.
Technical Philosophy
In the rapidly maturing field of immigration tech, I believe that building out the marketplace of solutions will be achieved through seamless inter-platform integrations, rather than the building of walled monoliths. That’s why Threshold is built as an API-first intelligence layer, designed to be integrated with existing systems and platforms that are revolutionizing how immigration matters are handled.
